Ahoy, Mateys! International Talk Like a Pirate Day!

Ahoy, Tinc Road! Batten down the hatches and prepare to set sail! International Talk Like a Pirate Day has become one of the most exciting days on the Tinc Road calendar, and this year our crew once again proved that nobody does pirate pride quite like the Tinc Road Marauders!

From stem to stern, our school was filled with little buccaneers and their pirate captains! Students and staff swapped their everyday clothes for pirate garb, sporting eye patches, bandanas, pirate hats, stripes, and plenty of swashbuckling style. Everywhere ye looked, there were Marauders ready to walk the plank, hunt for treasure, and show off their finest pirate spirit!

What started as a fun way to celebrate our Marauder mascot has become a Tinc Road tradition that our crew looks forward to every year. The halls were filled with laughter, smiles, and enough “Arrrs!” and “Ahoy, mateys!” to make any pirate proud.

But there be even bigger news on the horizon! Our pirate celebration has become such a huge hit at Tinc Road that other elementary schools across the district are joining our crew! More schools are dressing up, showing their school spirit, and getting in on the pirate fun. What started as a Tinc Road tradition is now becoming a district-wide treasure!

A hearty ARRR and three cheers for all of our students, staff, and families who helped make the day such a swashbuckling success. Thank ye for bringing your creativity, enthusiasm, and Marauder pride to the celebration!

So until next year, mateys… keep your eyes on the horizon, your treasure close, and your Marauder spirit strong!
