Mountain View Elementary
Preschool Program

The Mount Olive School District preschool program services students ranging from ages 3 to 5 years old. Classes are designed to meet the diverse needs of all learners in a variety of settings including integrated general education preschool classes and preschool disabled classes. Instruction is aligned with preschool standards and is geared towards the individual developmental levels of each child.

Children are immersed in a language rich environment as they explore their world through play, literacy and STEAM activities. Each class is taught by a certified teacher with the assistance of a classroom aide. Fundations is introduced in the preschool program as a multisensory and systematic phonics, spelling, and handwriting program. This instruction lays the groundwork for further learning as students continue in the Fundations program in kindergarten through second grade.

Enrollment in the general education preschool is limited and will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you feel that your preschooler may be in need of special education or related services, please email the special services secretary Donna Vnenchak for information on how to request an evaluation by the child study team.
