Our schools are looking for dedicated, kind leaders who are passionate about spreading kindness, helping others and setting a positive example within their school community. As Kindness Ambassadors, students are expected to serve as positive role models and to assist with various school wide projects throughout the year. Students selected as Kindness Ambassadors are traditionally nominated by a teacher and are required to complete an application. Being selected to become a Kindness Ambassador is an honor and a big responsibility. The mission of the team is to bring students together to help create an environment where everyone feels welcome and included. Members of the club are committed to making our school, community, ourselves and our world a better place, one act of kindness at a time!
Kindness Ambassadors will work on the following:
- Promoting a sense of kindness at home, school and in our community
- Creating ways to acknowledge students and staff for random acts of kindness
- Inspiring others to be positive role models and be upstanders
- Participating in activities that will focus on spreading kindness
Selection:
- Fifth grade representatives
- Applications, sent out in the fall of the 5th Grade year
Qualifications to apply to become a Kindness Ambassador:
- A student who would like to be a Kindness Ambassador must demonstrate:
- Leadership ability (participate in class, communicate effectively and be creative)
- Good citizenship and positive relationships with others
- Positive attitude
- A strong work ethic (completes class work and homework assignments)
*Any students behavior contradictory to club expectations can result in the removal from the club.*
